Community Habilitation Worker; Orange, Ulster, & Sullivan County

Access Supports is seeking Community Habilitation Workers for varying locations in the Hudson Valley area to provide skill-building training and support to Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Workers will assist individuals in their homes or community, providing daily living skills and helping them achieve personal outcomes. This role involves travel and documentation of services and reporting progress.

Requirements

• Provide mentoring and teaching services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Teach daily living skills such as money handling, socialization, cooking, job search, etc.
• Assist with hygiene functions and travel to assigned locations.
• Meet with individuals several times per week and document training sessions.
• Must meet electronic/real-time reporting requirements.
• Valid, Unrestricted Driver's License.
• Bilingual English and Spanish speaking a plus.
