Revenue Cycle Director

The Revenue Cycle Director is responsible for overseeing billing operations, payment posting, collections, and insurance verification for a large healthcare organization in Middletown, New York. This role requires strong supervisory skills, a deep understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance, and proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding. The director will maintain compliance with regulations and develop processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Lead and supervise a billing team of up to 8 staff.
• Manage all aspects of the revenue cycle, including billing systems, insurance verifications/authorizations, collections, and payment processes.
• Maintain clear understanding of claims processing, payer denials, and appeals.
• Prepare recurring and adjusting journal entries and financial analyses for audits.
