Job Description
The Senior Billing Specialist is a key financial role within the company, responsible for supporting all billing and revenue management processes. This position manages the electronic claims process, analyzes claims, assists with credentialing, and provides support to various revenue cycle areas. The role collaborates with Finance, other departments, and stakeholders to maximize revenue and ensure accurate and timely billing.
Requirements
- Associate Degree from an accredited university with accounting degree preferred
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of Medical Insurance programs (Medicaid, Medicare, Dual eligibility)
- Experience with automated billing systems and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of CPT Codes and Revenue Codes
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic medical record systems (MyEvolv).
