Java Developer

Accion Labs is a global technology services firm seeking a Java Developer for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in development, strong technical skills in core Java and J2EE, and proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.

Requirements

• Have managed large transformational Mainframe platform migration / re-hosting projects
• Understanding of Mainframe application related to infra needs
• Knowledge and understanding of UX / Linux
• Should have hands-on experience in projects
• Strong project management skills. PMP certification is an added advantage
• Have run a large complex project of at least 5m++
• Ability in managing and handling 3P vendors providing application porting services and workload solutions services.
• Experience in contract administrations
• Ability in managing cross-country / regional / virtualization resources in projects
• Managing at CxO level customer
• 6+ years in development role with experience on large & complex projects
• Building web application screens and strong DB experience is required
• The candidate should have very strong technical experience in core JAVA and J2EE
• Hands-on experience on at least one of the framework like Spring or GWT or Hibernate.
• Experience on JavaScript or at least one of the UI frameworks like GWT/GXT.
• The candidate should be proficient with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience in working Batch related application would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of JMS or jBPM would be an advantage.
• Adhere to the SDLC process, & also ensure others follow process too.
• Should have root cause analysis skills, able to quickly analyze and interpret code and ensure that issues are resolved or escalated appropriately.
• Must have prior proven experience in coding, development and testing of programs & modules
