Lead the development of electric projects in low and medium voltage during the engineering phase for renewable energy projects. Design, review, and manage the execution of all engineering phases in terms of quality, deadlines, and costs for wind, solar, and energy storage projects with battery systems (BESS) at the Acciona Energia LATAM division.

Requirements

• Perform conceptual and basic electrical engineering designs for low and medium voltage projects for wind and solar farms.
• Manage and review electrical engineering services contracted to third parties for wind, solar, and BESS power plants, as well as interconnection engineering in its different stages, conceptual, basic, and detail.
• Perform technical specifications and BOQ quantification for electric project estimates.
• Perform and review various calculation reports associated with design, conductor calculation, short circuit, earthing system, electrical losses, and other.
• Develop technical specification bases for purchasing engineering, supplies, and execution contracts.
• Review equipment technical specifications, FAT, and SAT tests.
• Determine quantities, costs, and project planning for electric projects.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants associated with the specialty.
• Collaborate with other Engineering and Construction areas: Engineering (Recuro Energy and Code of the Network), Construction & PMO, and Valuations.
• Collaborate with other company areas (Purchasing, Environment, Business Development, O&M, Quality, etc).
• Follow Acciona processes and policies, including country and Central Headquarters.
