Job Description
The Area Safety Manager ensures the Company complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations. This role involves developing, implementing, and auditing safety policies, providing leadership, and supporting the company's injury prevention programs. The manager will interact with employees, management, and customers, ensuring a safe working environment through inspections, training, and corrective action.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 Years of progressive experience in Construction Safety
- Knowledge of safety regulations including Title 8, OSHA 1926
- 30-hour OSHA instructor qualified and/or EM385 course work preferred
- Professional safety accreditation preferred
- Active membership and participation in HSE professional associations required
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite of software (Word / Excel) required
