Executive Steward / Stewarding Manager

Fairmont Breakers is a luxury hotel in Long Beach, CA, seeking an Executive Steward / Stewarding Manager to lead the stewarding and culinary team. The role requires a high school diploma, 3-year leadership experience, and 2 years of experience in a hotel or related field. The job offers a salary range of $76,000 to $85,000, discounted hotel rooms and food & beverage rates, and opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements

• Comply with Fairmont standards and regulations
• Lead the stewarding and culinary team
• Schedule supervisors and stewards
• Ensure accurate payroll process
• Maintain sanitation of kitchen and equipment
• Ensure compliance with Health Department standards
• Work with Chef, F&B Director, and Catering team
• Attend BEO meetings and update BEOs
• Order and control inventory of cleaning compounds
• Attend meetings to maintain favorable working relationships
• Lead talent management initiatives
• Promote positive work environment
