Sous Chef - Asian cuisine

Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, this Sous Chef - Asian cuisine role will lead the culinary team and ensure consistency and highest quality specialty within Asian cuisine. The successful candidate will have a minimum 2-3 years proven leadership experience within a similar role in a 5-star hotel operation, especially expertise with Asian cuisine.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years proven leadership experience within similar role in 5 star Hotel operation; especially expertise with Asian cuisine.
• Advanced culinary skills and knowledge of other cuisine i.e. Mediteranian and Arabic cuisine would be highly regarded
• Good knowledge and practice of food safety protocols and food waste reduction program
• Outstanding communications skills, both written and verbal in Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships with others
• Proven organisational skills, works well on their own. Able to set and meet deadlines with quality results
