Manager, Software Engineering (Marketplace)

Requirements

• Prior hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms and domains (checkout, payments, catalog, pricing, promotions, order management).
• Prior experience in a people leader capacity where you successfully have mentored software engineers and have fostered a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within a team.
• Strong systems thinking with an understanding of designing for high traffic, high availability, and peak events (e.g., sales, promotions, holidays).
• Proven extensive experience (8-10+ years) in a SaaS environment, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software solutions by effectively planning, tracking, and managing multiple projects and initiatives.
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native environments (GCP, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency with modern software development practices, including continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and project updates to various stakeholders.
• A collaborative and influential approach to stakeholder management and cross-functional partnerships.
