We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead development within Acrisure’s Wholesale Applications and Palantir Platform ecosystem. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader passionate about building and scaling enterprise systems at the intersection of data, underwriting, and automation.
Requirements
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers building scalable back-end services and data integrations using Python, TypeScript, and Palantir Foundry.
- Own the roadmap for Palantir-driven applications supporting wholesale underwriting, broking, and risk evaluation.
- Architect and oversee data workflows, pipelines, and APIs that connect enterprise systems and enhance operational efficiency.
- Partner with Acrisure’s Palantir Center of Excellence to define standards for data governance, ontology management, and Foundry best practices.
- Drive adoption of Palantir capabilities (Foundry, AIP, Ontology, Code Workbooks) across engineering and product teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and underwriting leaders to translate business problems into scalable data and software solutions.
- Champion modern DevOps and CI/CD practices (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, etc.) to ensure reliable delivery and high-quality software.
- Manage team performance, career growth, and hiring to build a strong, high-performing engineering culture.
- Oversee proof-of-concepts and new platform capabilities in partnership with Acrisure Innovation’s data and AI teams.
