Job Description
This Sales Trader position involves leading and managing the trading of biomethane quotas within the French market. The role focuses on compliance, relationship building with stakeholders, expanding market impact, and revenue maximization. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills, coupled with experience in emissions trading or related environmental commodities.
Requirements
- Fluency in both French and English
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or Finance (preferred)
- 3+ years’ experience in emissions trading, renewable energy certificates, or related environmental commodities
- Understanding of Fuel Quality Directive (FQD) and biomethane quota regulations
- Proven success in trading with a strong revenue generation track record
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively
