Actemium Automation Nottingham is seeking an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to develop, detail, and support the creation of control system designs for high-profile industrial clients. The role involves designing electrical hardware solutions, producing electrical schematics, and working closely with project managers and on-site teams.

Requirements

• Experience in electrical hardware design within an industrial automation, process, or manufacturing environment
• Proficient with CAD design tool EPLAN
• Knowledge of electrical protection, circuit design, and industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA, automation equipment)
• Understanding of British and international electrical standards (e.g. BS7671, EN60204-1)
• HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
