Job Description
Action Against Hunger-USA, part of the Action Against Hunger International network, is seeking an Infrastructure & Disaster Risk Reduction Officer to support the implementation of food security projects in South Sudan. This role involves overseeing construction, rehabilitation of community assets, and monitoring of project activities, ensuring quality delivery and resilience to shocks. The position requires engagement with beneficiaries and FSL team members in project implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, design and/or construction, rural development.
- Minimum three years of experience implementing cash for work, livelihoods and market systems strengthening projects.
- Experience with rural growth strategies including local economic development, market-driven agricultural and private sector initiatives.
