Head Safety

The Head Safety position involves implementing and enforcing safety guidelines at site, developing safety plans, conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and providing training. The role requires a commitment to safety, compliance with regulations, and continuous improvement to ensure a safe work environment. Employee development will focus on innovation, team orientation, and a proactive approach to safety.

Requirements

• Understand & implement the safety guidelines at site implementing mechanical activities.
• Enforce & implements the HSE guidelines at site while execution of all construction activities at site.
• Develop & execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.
• Assess workplace hazards and risks and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate them.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety issues.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Provide regular safety training sessions and organize impactful safety campaigns.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for safety inspections, incidents and training.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety strategies, plans and procedures, and adjust as needed.
• Provide guidance and support to management and employees on safety-related matters.
• Ensure a safe work environment by overseeing the inspection and maintenance of equipment.
• Conduct regular reviews and update procedures to keep abreast of current operations and comply with regulations.
