Job Description
The RT Vent Field Clinician provides respiratory patient care to Vent patients in various care settings. The role involves preventative, rehabilitative, and palliative respiratory care, utilizing resources and communication with team, physicians, and referral sources. Responsibilities include assessing patients, documenting care, ensuring compliance, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Associates degree from an AMA approved respiratory program
- Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch
- CPR certification
- One (1) year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT or clinical nursing with Vent experience
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, bend, stoop, and be able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time
- CPR certification, one-man CPR
