ADEO is a European leader in the housing improvement and DIY market, seeking an OPS Engineer Storage & Backup to support its stores around the world. The role involves designing, deploying, and automating On-Premise and Cloud storage infrastructures, managing and ensuring the reliability of backup and DRP solutions, and collaborating with cybersecurity teams to secure infrastructure and automate access and encryption management.
Requirements
- Mastery of Python scripting and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Practical experience with DevOps and Agile methods, CI/CD pipelines, and SRE principles
- Knowledge of NAS/SAN storage environments (NetApp, Pure Storage) and backup solutions (Dell Networker)
- Experience with cloud (GCP: Cloud Storage, BigQuery) and familiarity with Git and GitOps
- Sensitivity to cybersecurity issues and integration of DevSecOps practices into infrastructure lifecycle
- Ability to analyze, resolve complex problems, and share knowledge with teams
