AvaMed Inc is a Healthcare Staffing Agency looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse to work at a correctional facility in Chowchilla, CA. The position is a contracted assignment with 24 hours per week, Wednesday-Friday 6:00 am-2:30 pm, at $44/hr.
Requirements
- Must have a license by the California State Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians
- Under the direction of the Institution's CEO/CNE or designee, Temporary/Relief LVN shall provide services as permitted within the scope of practice for Licensed Vocational Nurse services in accordance with Institution/Facility policies and procedures
- Duties/Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to: conducting basic hygiene and nursing care, collecting information regarding patient status, providing patient/youth education, administering/assisting with therapeutic measures and treatments, and documenting care in the approved format
