Job Description
The Assembly Associate I performs basic electro-mechanical assembly tasks under direct supervision, with a focus on learning foundational assembly techniques and developing familiarity with tools and documentation.
Requirements
- Assemble simple components using hand tools, fixtures, and basic equipment
- Follow work instructions, visual aids, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks on assembled parts
- Assist in preparing parts, materials, and workstations for daily operations
- Work collaboratively with team members and respond to feedback and coaching
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with lean/5S practices
- Participate in training sessions and skill development activities
- Meet assigned production goals and report any issues to the lead or supervisor
