Senior Manager - Finance Operations

The Senior Manager - Finance Operations will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the billing, collections, and renewals functions within the company. This role involves leading a team, collaborating cross-functionally with sales, customer success, and finance, and implementing strategies to improve cash flow, reduce credit risk, and increase customer retention through timely renewals and simplification of our customer billing and contracts.

Requirements

• Billing Management: Oversee and manage the billing process for all customers, ensuring timely, accurate invoicing, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Credit & Collections: Lead credit the collection activities to minimise risk, reduce overdue debt, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and ensure healthy cash flow.
• Renewals/Co Term Management: Drive the renewals process to ensure customer retention and maximisation of contract value.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of billing, collections, and renewals specialists.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and integration with other business systems.
• Reporting & Analysis: Develop and deliver regular reports on billing, collections, and renewals performance, highlighting trends, key performance indicators (KPIs), and opportunities for improvement.
