Job Description
Adventist Health Simi Valley is a leading healthcare provider in Southern California, comprised of a 144-bed hospital, home care services, and a wide range of services. They are seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to process and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, assembling and distributing patient care supplies. The role requires a commitment to safety, compassion, and a focus on patient care.
Requirements
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent
- Sterile Processing Technician certification
- Certified Board Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
- Decontaminating and processing instruments
- Maintaining a clean and orderly environment
- Performing daily diagnostic testing on sterilizing equipment
- Educating patients on instrument use
- Participating in E-Verify
