Job Description
Adventist Health Bakersfield is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to prioritize and perform laboratory tests on biological specimens, ensuring accurate results and adhering to strict quality and safety protocols. The role involves reviewing test results, training lab personnel, and maintaining laboratory equipment. The lab is part of a 254-bed acute care hospital and a network of primary and specialty medical offices.
Requirements
- Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license in CA
- Current certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or National Credentialing Agency for Labs (NCA)
- Bachelor’s Degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, biological sciences, chemical sciences or allied health technologies or equivalent
