Patient Access Representative

Adventist Health Columbia Gorge is seeking a full-time Patient Access Representative to provide excellent customer service and administrative support for patients. The role involves registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and communication with both patients and physicians. This is a flexible position requiring the ability to work different hours as needed to support patient care.

Requirements

• Check for physician orders and attach them to patient medical record.
• Verify all insurance and calculate and collect patient liability amounts.
• Answer any questions and explain policies clearly.
• Print and collate paperwork for distribution to the appropriate unit/department.
• Escorts patients to his/her area or refers to available escort as needed.
