Adyen is looking for a Financial Control Specialist to grow the Group Finance team, focused primarily on owning the trial balance(s) for the LATAM region and supporting regulatory compliance with the recent payment licenses.
Requirements
- Managing the general ledger of Latin American entities ranging from mid - high complexity.
- Preparing and reviewing month end close activities, reviewing the reconciliations performed for the entities managed like fixed asset reconciliations, prepayment reconciliation, accruals reconciliation; along with posting routing month-end journals.
- Working closely with Adyen regulatory teams to support them in regulatory reportings to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory deadlines and Central Bank requirements.
- Working closely with tax teams based in Amsterdam and Brazil, for tax filings and tax provisioning, by gathering and providing necessary information and liaising with external advisors.
- Preparation of financial statements, coordination with auditors to facilitate timely and smooth audit processes, and addressing their queries.
- Meet ad-hoc reporting requests from multiple stakeholders.
- Support internal control as a key stakeholder to monitor and maintain internal control frameworks for relevant entities.
- Assisting in process improvement and systems enhancement to drive initiatives that help scale the organization.
