Aecon is seeking a Project Manager to lead the financial and operational performance of regional utility projects. The successful candidate will oversee budgets, expenditures, and compliance, while building strong relationships with clients and guiding a high-performing team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Project Coordination/Project Management within the utility or telecom contracting sector
- Relevant education in Engineering, Construction Project Management, or equivalent technical training
- Strong industry expertise, including engineering standards, regulatory compliance, utility construction practices, and familiarity with major ISPs
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage design partners, and collaborate effectively across departments
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects end-to-end, overseeing schedules, resources, risk, and cost control
- Skilled in financial forecasting, cost management, and project reporting
- Strong technical proficiency, including MS Excel, Word, and MS Project
