Aecon is looking for a talented and motivated MEP Manager to join their USVI project team. The MEP Manager will lead and exercise functional authority over the MEP for tasks including technical planning, organizing, work execution, budgeting, and cost reporting.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or a related degree
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in reviewing and handling MEP civil construction and infrastructure projects
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing projects specializing in MEP on schedule and within budget
- Ability to understand project scheduling and cost control, and to read and understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings
- Experience with managing vendor relationship, estimation, analyzing information and reporting is essential
- Competent in the use of computer software applications used for project control and administration, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
- Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization/time management skills
- PMP certification a plus
