As a Senior Steel Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of complex steelwork design packages for the Nuclear Island at the Darlington New Nuclear Project. You will leverage deep technical expertise and site experience to ensure designs are constructible, safe, and compliant with nuclear standards.
Requirements
- Post secondary education in civil engineering
- Minimum 10 years' experience in structural steel/composite design and construction, preferably within nuclear, power, or large-scale industrial projects
- Professional Engineering (P.Eng) Designation is considered an asset
- Proven track record in constructability reviews and site-based engineering support
- Strong knowledge of ASME codes and nuclear safety standards
- Experience drafting and reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and construction schedules
- Excellent communication skills with ability to manage queries and interface with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- High attention to detail and safety
- Organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task/ Service orientated
