Job Description
AEG is seeking a visionary Director of Data Science to transform data utilization and drive business decisions in the live entertainment industry. This role involves developing and implementing sophisticated models, translating technical insights into actionable strategies, and leading a team of data scientists. The position requires strong analytical skills and experience with various areas like marketing, ticketing, and venue operations.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree (4-year)
- MA/MS Degree preferred
- 8-10 years Experience in data science and statistics
- 4-6 years Experience building, managing, mentoring, and inspiring high performing teams
- Proven expertise in developing algorithms for solving diverse business challenges and creating value
- Experience with large-scale data systems in distributed computing environments
- Strong background in Python, R, SQL, statistical tools
- Passion and focus on data science, with the ability to adapt machine learning technologies
