Job Description
As a CNC Programming Machinist at Aerotech, you will program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC machines in a precision machine shop environment, produce newly designed parts, and inspect parts with tight dimensional and form error tolerances. You will work in a clean and climate-controlled environment with paid on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement.
Requirements
- One-year certificate from college or technical school or apprenticeship program in Machine Shop technology
- Three or more years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of speeds and feeds for machining all types of metals
- Knowledge of metric conversion
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
