Job Description
Aeva is seeking a Senior Automotive Software Engineer to work on implementing Adaptive AUTOSAR software components, integrating middleware with sensor firmware, and ensuring system-level interoperability with automotive OEMs.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in embedded C++ development for automotive or real-time systems
- Strong understanding of Adaptive AUTOSAR architecture and middleware integration
- Experience developing software for Embedded Linux/QNX on ARM-based SoCs
- Familiarity with secure boot, key management, and in-vehicle communication security (SecOC, E2E)
- Knowledge of RTOS, Ethernet, and hardware abstraction layers
- Understanding of safety concepts (ISO 26262) and experience supporting safety or compliance documentation
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in cross-functional, OEM-collaborative environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across hardware, software, and systems teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
