Talend Data Engineer - 24 Month Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a Talend Data Engineer to join our team on a 24-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will design, build, and maintain resilient, automated data pipelines using Talend Data Integration, and work with modern AWS technologies such as S3, Glue, Redshift, and Spectrum.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Data Engineering, specifically with Talend Data Integration
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Spectrum) and SQL
• Expertise in ETL design, data warehousing, and data governance principles
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs for data extraction and integration
• Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, PowerShell) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Experience working in Agile teams and delivering data-driven projects
