Job Description
Affirm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build a robust backend platform for managing delinquent users and ensuring high reliability. The role involves leading a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering quarterly goals. The focus is on maximizing recovery and ensuring the ongoing health of the loan portfolio.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale
- Experience with AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes and Airflow, Spark, Data Lake and Snowflake
- Fluency in back end development and batch processing with technologies like Airflow, Spark, Data Lake and Snowflake
- Experience defining technical plans for delivering significant features
- Ownership of growth and strong communication skills
