Job Description
Affirm is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Back-end identity systems to accelerate international expansion. This role involves technical strategy, collaboration with product and design teams, and ownership of team operations. The team aims to become a trusted, self-sufficient team building core identity capabilities across international markets.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale
- Extensive track record of developing highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, Spark and Kubernetes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience delivering system components or deprecating functionality
