Job Description
Affirm is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Checkout Experience team, responsible for maintaining UIs and APIs powering the checkout experience at the core of all their products. The role involves collaboration with product, design, and analytics teams, ensuring technical sustainability, minimizing risk, and maximizing user satisfaction. It also requires an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing and architecting web applications using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
- Proficiency in working with Javascript/Typescript.
- Experience delivering major features, system components, or deprecating existing functionality through a technical plan.
