Job Description
We are seeking a Data Engineering Lead with deep expertise in cloud platforms and modern data engineering practices to guide external engineering teams, support solution architecture decisions, and drive innovation in data solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- 5-7+ years in data engineering with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership role
- Proven experience with GCP and Databricks
- Strong proficiency in Spark, Python, and SQL for data processing
- Experience in AWS is a plus
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance principles
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices, GitHub, Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with Scrum methodologies and agile delivery
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
- Attention to detail
- Clear communication of complex concepts
- Strong leadership with stakeholder management skills
