Sr. Buyer, Regional Commodity: Identify cost reductions opportunities, ensure supplier's good performance, act to support new Product Introduction team within purchasing, and raise and lead sub-categories strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred), Business Administration, International Trade (Comex), or any other business-related area.
- Minimum 3-4 years in Purchasing with strong communication and negotiation experience;
- Advanced level of English required; proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal skills; experience and knowledge in the Castings category is a strong advantage.
- Ability to handle commercial issues due to debit notes (low complexity); manage negotiation breakdowns with major suppliers requiring moderate problem-solving skills, maturity, and experience to avoid loss of leverage or negative consequences for AGCO.
