School ICT Engineer

School ICT Engineer job description summary: We are seeking a Schools ICT Engineer to deliver high availability services to support a wide range of users within the schools. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering results while embracing change and uncertainty, with excellent stakeholder management experience and knowledge of Microsoft products, Windows 10 and 11, and SIMS and FMS school MIS software.

Requirements

• Dealing with enquiries from customers face to face and via telephone, email and online.
• Ensuring that incidents are logged and recorded and then dealt with in a timely manner.
• Deliver quality customer service at all times.
• Work on and resolve incidents and requests raised for schools.
• Onsite and remote support.
• Build and deploy end-user devices to students and staff.
• Installing applications onto user devices.
• Addressing requests for assistance with printers and other equipment.
• Undertaking essential administrative tasks such as asset management and technical documentation.
• Technical support of dedicated MIS software used in schools.
• Daily monitoring of Backup progress and resolution of associated problems.
• Help and guide with cyber security in line with Department for Education standards and guidelines.
