Mine Surveyor

At Agnico Eagle, our values never waver. We believe in trust, respect, equity, family and responsibility. As a Mine Surveyor, you will be a part of the Technical Services Team and play an essential role in supporting the accuracy, efficiency, and safety of our open-pit operation.

Requirements

• Postsecondary Degree or Diploma in Surveying, or a comparable blend of education and practical experience;
• Approximately five years of surveying experience — open-pit experience is an asset but not mandatory;
• Proficiency with 3D mine planning and design software (Maptek experience preferred);
• Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors for most of the rotation, with support and appropriate PPE provided;
• Physically able to lift and carry surveying equipment (up to 50 lbs);
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environment;
• Experience in remote mine operations is an advantage.
