Job Description
Agnico Eagle is seeking a Technician, Geotechnical to join their team at the Meliadine Mine in Nunavut. The successful candidate will conduct regular inspections, collect and analyze data, and support the development of design packages.
Requirements
- College Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Geological Engineering Technology or a related field
- 0 to 3 years of experience in a mining or industrial setting
- Experience with data acquisition, data management, and quality control monitoring
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Experience with modeling software such as Deswik or other CAD software (asset)
- Experience in the Arctic or permafrost environment (asset)
