Assistant - Laboratory Phlebotomist PD Variable

Laboratory Assistants/Phlebotomists provide useful assistance to the clinical laboratory, including phlebotomy, preparation of send out tests, and assisting in chemistry, hematology, and microbiology areas.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience
• Two years of experience as a phlebotomist
• Certified for venipuncture and skin puncture CPT
• Good communication skills in English
• Minimum of four years of experience in a clinical laboratory
• LIS experience and computer knowledge
• Good organizational skills
• Experience with automated chemistry, hematology, or microbiology instruments
• BCLS Card (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain
