Job Description
This Direct Support Professional (CLS) position supports individuals with intellectual and other disabilities in the Community Living Services program, providing ongoing guidance and support in areas like self-care, health, safety, and overall wellbeing. The role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. The position requires regular unsupervised or unrestricted physical contact and adherence to treatment plans and scheduling policies.
Requirements
- Provide ongoing guidance and support for self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and overall wellbeing.
- Support individuals in actively participating in life (e.g., self-care, health, safety).
- Maintain and build upon relationships with individuals and their support networks.
- Support individuals with medication administration and household chores.
