Job Description
Ainsworth, a subsidiary of GDI, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their growing team. The role involves the installation, commissioning, and servicing of commercial building automation systems. Candidates should have strong electrical theory knowledge and experience with building electrical/mechanical systems.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s license
- Red Seal Journeyman Certificate
- BMS/ECS/Building Controls Experience (asset)
- Fluent in English (written and oral)
- Ability to read construction plans and specs and product documentation
- Medium physical demands (standing, climbing ladders, work at heights)
- Good knowledge of the electrical trade and the Canadian Electrical Code
- Adept at installing conduit and pulling wire
