Job Description
Airbnb is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the Guidance Serving team, focusing on data workflows for Host Pricing and ML serving. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing real-time serving systems, developing workflow strategies, and mentoring team members to improve ML serving practices. The team empowers hosts to run their business through pricing tools and educational resources.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with a BS/Masters or 4+ years with a PhD
- Experience leading and shipping large scope technical projects
- Strong ownership and experience building and operating high-scale, distributed systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Expertise in large-scale distributed data processing frameworks like Presto or Spark
- Strong problem-solving skills and production debugging skills
