Job Description
Airbnb is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join their Community Support Engineering team in China. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in the tech industry, with a focus on large-scale software systems and a passion for perfecting user experience.
Requirements
- BS, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
- 12+ years of relevant experience in the tech industry
- 4+ years of experience in an Architect or Staff Engineer role
- Hands-on experience with designing, implementing and shipping large-scale, high-performance software systems
- Experience in designing and developing complex and durable APIs
- Track record in implementing solutions incorporating and implementing ML / AI
- Proven track record of complex, high-quality system architecture designs
- Commitment to coach and mentor
- Excellent communication ability
- Proven track record of fostering a culture of strong commitment to engineering quality and excellence
- Fully proficiency of communication in both Chinese and English language
