Assistant Plant Manager

Airgas is hiring an Assistant Plant Manager in Salem, NH. The role supervises day-to-day activities for multiple segments of industrial, specialty, and medical distribution and gas filling operations. The Assistant Plant Manager assists with managing gas cylinder processing, ultrasonic testing, and compliance with various regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience working in a leadership role within a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Intermediate knowledge of Google suite applications and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of how to leverage metrics and related tools to improve production efficiency and effectiveness
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
• Ability to move up to 60 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment
