Plant Manager

Airgas is hiring a Plant Manager in La Porte, TX. The role involves overseeing the operation of compressed and liquid gas production and repackaging into cylinders, as well as managing a team of personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 plus years of management or leadership experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales/distribution of industrial gases, welding supplies, or similar products
• Ability to set standards, delegate tasks, monitor progress toward goals, overcome obstacles, coach/assist team members, assess performance, provide recognition, and proactively address problems
• Ability to read and comprehend all written documents and instructions
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to become forklift certified
