We are looking for a VP Finance who thrives in a transforming environment, loves technology and knows how to turn numbers into action. Reporting to the CFO and managing a team of internal and external finance resources, you will play a pivotal role strengthening Airthings’ financial foundation, optimizing operations and driving insight-based decisions across the company.
Requirements
- Manage the financial consolidation process and ensure the accuracy and completeness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze consolidated profit & loss reports and key financial metrics, providing management with clear, data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Coordinate the company’s forecast and budgeting process, including preparation of budget documentation, variance analysis, and management presentations.
- Oversee the timely preparation of the Annual Report and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
- Manage tax reporting processes, including corporate income tax, indirect taxes, and transfer pricing documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with the CFO to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial models and forecasts across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Support the CFO with financial presentations and reports for monthly and quarterly management reviews with the leadership team, highlighting key trends, risks and opportunities.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Provide guidance and support to local finance teams, ensuring consistency in financial reporting and adherence to corporate policies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting quality as well as use of accounting software and reporting tools.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax advisors, to support business and compliance objectives.
