Equipment Reliability Engineer

The Equipment Reliability Engineer is responsible for identifying and managing reliability and maintainability of all A220 Final Assembly Line assets at Airbus Assembly Plant in Mobile, Alabama.

Requirements

• Identifies and manages asset reliability risks that could adversely affect A220 Final Assembly Line assets or business operations
• Performs FMEA on critical equipment components, evaluates spare parts requirements, works with the customer to ensure proper levels of safety stock
• Performs Root Cause Analysis of the equipment failures, creates corrective action plans, updates maintenance plan to improve equipment uptime
• Keeps track of the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), which include, but are not limited to Equipment Availability, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair)
• Reports KPIs, communicates opportunities and improvement plans to the customer
• Evaluates the effectiveness of the existing maintenance procedures and frequencies, makes recommendations for improvement, and implements them using internal resources
• Leads the team of maintenance personnel, identifies training needs and performs or organizes training
• Ensures that maintenance procedures and processes are in compliance with all applicable safety, health and environmental regulations
