Material Coordinator

Reviewing daily production schedules and identifying required materials in support of assembly start dates. Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling material and purchase components from inventory and delivering where needed.

Requirements

• Monitors purchase parts and make components supporting assembly 2/4/6 week look ahead.
• Identify misalignments with production start dates and shortages.
• Generate shortage lists for escalation with SCM, PM and Operations.
• Operates equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks to move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas (requires applicable safety and operational training).
• Maintains inventory control and warehouse organization.
• Moves material / product throughout manufacturing process as required.
