Job Description
The Physician Assistant Rapid Treatment Area (PA-RTA) will provide a full range of Physician Assistant services in primary and specialty medical care within limits of training and privileges granted by the MTF. The position involves providing general screening and medical care and examinations of patients for routine, acute and chronic conditions involving any and all organ systems.
Requirements
- Sufficient experience and skills to perform the tasks identified in the work statement
- Current, valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in one of the 50 states in the U.S., the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Two years as a practicing PA in an Urgent Care Center or Emergency Department in the last four years
- ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certification
- Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
