Job Description
Akicita Federal is seeking licensed Pharmacists to provide outpatient pharmacy services at Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center (WWKMHCC), an Indian Health Service facility. The position involves processing prescriptions, providing patient counseling, reviewing prescriptions for safety, and maintaining compliance with pharmacy procedures. This is a non-personal services contract supporting the delivery of pharmaceutical care to a rural tribal population.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the past 3 years as a practicing pharmacist
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with EHR systems and strong computer literacy
- Must pass federal and state background investigations and fingerprinting
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in culturally sensitive environments
